TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the thing that matters. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
